Dr. Lin Shi is Assistant Professor at the School of Arts and Communication, Beijing Normal University, China. Her research interests include new media studies, STS, and comparative studies with a specific focus on Global South. Lin received her doctoral degree in Communication from the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University. She has also served as a Visiting Student at the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania, and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford. Currently she is a Visiting Scholar at the Media Studies Department, University of Amsterdam.
