Dr. Shengjun Jin is a lecturer at School of Journalism and Communication, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China, and was a guest researcher affiliated to ASCA, University of Amsterdam. He completed his PhD degree at School of Journalism and Communication, Renmin University of China, conducting research relative to the localized imagination of cultural commonalities in trans-cultural communication, with concurrent interests in fashion culture, platform popular culture, and media technology studies. He was the recipient of the National Scholarship awarded by MOE of PRC.
