I am a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, The University of Hong Kong. My research interests encompass the areas of identity, gender, race and ethnicity, China and East Asian studies, consumer culture and sociology of sport. I obtained a PhD in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science and was an affiliated research fellow there.
